Girl with the Porcelain Vase

I knew I was different from the other kids. I hated my black hair, my almond-shaped eyes, my rice box lunches. It took me until my 20s to reclaim my identity and fall in love with my beautiful Taiwanese roots. I’m proud to be Asian American.

In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, I collaborated with Society6 on an exclusive illustration to promote AAPI artists.
